RF Technician

Northern New Jersey based multi-media company has an immediate need for a RF Technician.  This person should possess a strong working knowledge of all facets and brands of audio that are relative to the sound reinforcement industry as well as networking infrastructure.   Prior related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Test all RF related equipment upon return to warehouse
  • Diagnose, log and enter items in need of repair into service
  • Troubleshoot problems with clients both in-house during build and once the shows are out via phone, email and where needed during on-site visits.
  • Manage firmware updates both in house and assisting shows out in the field with updates as is requested.
  • Ability to manage hard deadlines and changing priorities as emergencies arise.
  • Occasional travel required for on site service calls to touring shows with little to no notice.

Requirements

  • Understanding of RF equipment, knowledge of Shure, Lectrosonics, Sennheiser, Clearcom/HME, Telex and RAD
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot remotely
  • Experience working with electronics test equipment, IFR, Oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.
  • Understanding of Intermod
  • Strong organizational and communication skills in a fast paced and time sensitive environment
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Able to lift 70lbs

Applicant should be neat and presentable since customer and vendor interaction will be required.

We prefer a non-smoker and a drug screening will be required.  Applicant should be self-motivated, willing to learn, incorporate new technology and, most of all, take pride in their work.  This position will include a great benefits package and vacation.  Basic hours are 8:15AM-4:45PM M-F.

PWS Division Operations Coordinator

Supporting worldwide broadcast & live events, Professional Wireless Systems deploys RF systems and manufactures equipment to provide ultimate confidence. Looking for a new member of our team! The PWS Division Operations Coordinator plays an integral role in the deployment of wireless audio and intercom systems while maintaining the level of excellence in equipment packaging that clients expect from PWS.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate transfer orders between Orlando and New Jersey.
  • Oversee daily operations, acting as the primary liaison between Masque and PWSNY to streamline communication and processes.
  • Maintain and update inventory of gear, ensuring proper organization and availability.
  • Conduct quality control (QC) checks on all assets.
  • Shelf and organize items for easy access and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Create quotes and collaborate with the team on the design and assembly of racks.
  • Coordinate frequency assignments when necessary.
  • Review and correct orders in R2 to ensure all components are accurately included for precise fulfillment.

Requirements

  • Understanding of RF equipment, knowledge of Shure, Sennheiser, Lectrosonics, and Wisycom.
  • Understanding of intercom and wireless intercom systems, knowledge of Riedel Artist/Bolero, Clear-Com, and RAD.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot to support operational needs
  • Strong organizational and communication skills in a fast paced and time sensitive environment
  • Experience with cloud-based office services (Google Sheets)
  • Excellent work ethic
